What is HSDD?

HSDD is Hypoactive (low) Sexual Desire Disorder. Female sexual interest/arousal disorder is diagnosed when a patient experiences decreased sexual interest or arousal and it causes them personal distress and/or interpersonal difficulty. This condition is unfortunately often overlooked and under diagnosed for multiple reasons; Patients may feel uncomfortable discussing this with their physician and physicians may not be trained to diagnose and treat them. Fortunately, there are FDA approved treatments to target these symptoms and restore their sexual function.
