Mr. Stephen Bardoczi joined Witham Health Services as Vice President of Planning & Post-Acute Care in August 2013. He oversees managerial responsibility for 43 collaborative long term care partnerships in addition to the Witham extended care, volunteer services, business development, EMS, wellness, rehab, medical spa, and marketing. Stephen Bardoczi previously served as Senior Vice President of Planning and Real Estate - Franciscan Sisters of Chicago Service Corporation for 12 years. He was President at Franciscan Homes and Community Services for 5 years. Prior to that, he was Administrator of St. Anthony Homes for 8 years. He received his Master’s in Health Administration (1988), and a Bachelor’s of Science in Public Health Administration (1986) from Indiana University. He is also a fellow with the American College of Healthcare Executives and a Distinguished IU Alumni.

1. Where do you live?
I’m from northwest Indiana and have spent my whole life
as a resident near Lake Michigan.
2. Are you married?
My wife Jeanine and I recently celebrated our 40th
anniversary. We have four adult children, Stephen, Nicole,
Jessica and Alexander. We also have four grandchildren;
Maci, Paisley, Cameron and Finley.
3. What is our favorite vacation place?
Sleeping Bear Dunes Glen Arbor Michigan.
4. What is your favorite movie?
Remember the Titans.
5. What is your favorite color?
Orange.
6. Do you have Pets?
Yes, Augi our golden retriever, we love him to pieces.
7. What are your favorite hobbies?
Running, biking, walking, sailing
8. What really motivates you to work hard?
Seeing people, projects and organizations grow and prosper.
9. What is the one thing you can’t go a day without?
Some sort of exercise and coffee.
10. What is the one thing people would be surprised to know about you?
I’m a sailboat captain/sailor and can charter in the US. I’m also a United States Coast
Guard Auxiliary 9th District Western Regions Active Member (Guardians of the Great
Lakes) and former paramedic.
