Geni S. Klayer, BSN, RN, MBA, MJ – Vice President of Provider Services


Geni Klayer joined Witham Health Services in 2019 as Executive Director of Clinical Operations for the Physician Practices. She now serves as the Vice President of Provider Services. Geni previously worked as the Physician Network Director at Hendricks Regional Health. She has a Bachelor in Nursing from Marian University, Masters in Business Administration from Ball State University and Masters of Jurisprudence in Health Law from Loyola University Chicago. Professional affiliations include the following: Medical Group Management Association, Health Care Compliance Association and American College of Healthcare Executives.

1. Where do you live? -Are you from around here? -Do you have siblings?

I grew up in Brownsburg and lived there until last year when we moved to Pittsboro. I have 2 younger brothers, one is 7’ the other is 6’4, I'm the short one in the family.

2. Are you married? Children? Names?

Jeff and I just celebrated 28 years on June 4th. We have 2 sons Michael 25 and Chris 21.

3. Have you ever had a nickname? What is it?

Bubbles, when I was a baby I was always blowing


bubbles and as I got older my mom said I had a


bubbly personality.

4. What is your favorite vacation place?
   
   
   Anywhere with an ocean or lake.
5. What is your favorite movie?
   
   
   I love to watch White Christmas every year.
6. What is your favorite family recipe/meal?
   
   
   Thanksgiving dinner, specifically turkey with peanut butter.
7. What is the most interesting or unusual job you have held?
   
   
   I spent a summer microfilming medical records.
8. Do you like to dance?
   
   
   NO.
9. Who is your hero?
   
   
   I would say my parents. They both worked hard, instilled the importance of family, honesty, integrity and work ethic. They were models of unconditional love and always my biggest supporters.
10. What is your biggest fear?
    
    
    I’m not a fan of driving across large bridges.
11. What is your favorite sport to watch or play?
    
    
    Any sport my boys are playing.
12. What is your favorite color?
    
    
    Purple and pink.
13. What are your hobbies?
    
    
    I enjoy working in the yard and crafting.
14. Do you have pets? If so what are they and their names?
    
    
    We have a beagle named Ace.
15. What is your favorite holiday?
    
    
    Christmas.
16. Aside from necessities what is 1 thing you could not go a day without?
    
    
    A Diet Coke.
17. What is 1 thing people would be surprised to know about you?
    
    
    In high school I was on the track team, I threw shot put and was a high jumper. I hate to run!
