CEO Update January 2023

It has been a whirlwind of a year! The LA Rams won the Superbowl, Covid-19 peaked last February, Russia invaded Ukraine, Covid testing became available in retail locations, Covid travel restrictions were lifted, inflation returned, scientists finished mapping the human genome, Taylor Swift broke Ticketmaster and Argentina won the World Cup.

With all that occurred in 2022, what was solidified for me is the amazing and compassionate care our staff provides to our patients. It is very special to be part of a team that is so patient-centered, friendly and warm. I’ve seen firsthand how much everyone cares about each other and about doing what’s best for those we serve. Our team demonstrates they deeply care about what matters most to our patients by making each patient and member of their support system feel important, listened to and special- this is why Witham is the healthcare provider of choice for so many.

Each of the awards and recognitions were earned due to the amazing group of dedicated team members serving you at Witham and their relentless focus on quality and safety.

Witham will continue to serve our community by providing the very best in patient care and ensuring we address what matters most to our patients and their families. Through patient feedback, we learned what matters to our patients is increased access to providers, so in order to best serve you, we added 8 physicians and 5 nurse practitioners in 2022. Witham has plans to continue to grow our practices and services in 2023.
