In light of the continuously changing impacts of the COVID-19 pandemic, Witham Pediatrics offers the following updates to ensure the continued care of our patients and their families while practicing optimal social distancing to "flatten the curve" of the Coronavirus outbreak:

COVID-19 Diagnosis and Treatment

  • We are not a test site for COVID-19. We will not be able to diagnose or confirm Coronavirus cases in the office.
  • Patients with suspected symptoms of COVID-19 should call our office at 765-485-8900 (Lebanon) or 317-768-2222 (Anson) if they have concerns, but may also call the Witham Coronavirus Hotline at 765-485-8777.

Visiting Our Office

  • No patients, parents, or caregivers with any symptoms of illness may enter our office without an appointment
  • No siblings may accompany patients to appointments
  • We strongly encourage parents or caregivers who are considered at higher risk for COVID-19 (the elderly, people with pre-existing medical conditions) to stay out of the office
  • If you need to pick up prescriptions, samples, or other required documents or supplies, please call the office at 765-485-8900 (Lebanon) or 317-768-2222 (Anson) to coordinate the best time for your visit

Well Visit Appointments

  • If you have a well exam scheduled but have concerning symptoms such as fever or cough, you will be asked to reschedule your visit
  • Well visit appointments will be scheduled in the morning only
  • Only one healthy caregiver may accompany patients to well exams

Sick Visit Appointments

  • All patients with fever or symptoms of respiratory illness (cough, congestion, sneezing, shortness of breath, etc) will be triaged by our doctors and nurses by phone
  • Sick visit appointments will be scheduled in the afternoon only
  • Only one caregiver may accompany patients to sick visits

Telehealth Appointments

  • Your child’s appointment may be converted to a virtual video visit in order to allow us to continue their care from the safety of your home
