Amy Mitchell presented the Volunteer of the Year award to two individuals this year, Mrs. Pamela Alexander, and Mrs. Carolyn Koontz! Witham volunteers were recently voted by their peers and Witham staff as Witham’s Volunteer of the Year. Pam assists in the Hematology / Oncology unit and Carolyn is the Witham Volunteer Organization Board President, assists administratively in the volunteer office and supports the needs of the retail shops, as well as has many other duties. 

“Both ladies are so deserving of this award and will receive a beautiful plaque to recognize this achievement! We love our awesome volunteer team!  Congratulations to both ladies!” said Amy Mitchell, Director of Volunteer Services at Witham. “We love our awesome volunteer team!  Congratulations to both ladies! Witham volunteers bring so much value, joy, encouragement and support to our patients, staff, hospital and community at large. We are truly blessed to have such an amazing team of individuals who want to give their time and talent to support Witham and care for our patients.”
