Witham's First Baby of the Year Honored

The first baby of Boone County has arrived and it's a girl!

Kehlani Annette Quinonez Tapia was born at 1:41 p.m. on January 1, 2019. She was born to parents; Ruby Tapia and Julio Quinonez Carrera of Frankfort. She weighed 7 pounds and was 20.5 inches long. She was welcomed by her big brother, Alex. Witham honors the first baby of the New Year with a gift basket full of items donated by local merchants. Included in this year's basket was a car seat, a silver sippy cup, lots of diapers, wipes, lotions, soaps, clothing items, stuffed animals, books, many gift certificates/gift cards and more! In all more than 35 businesses donated to the basket this year.

Witham wants to thank all of the local merchants who participated.
