Jake Wagner, M.D.

I am an Internal Medicine and Pediatrics physician who provides comprehensive primary care for patients of all ages, from children through adulthood. I enjoy building long-term relationships with patients and families and believe in providing personalized, evidence-based care throughout every stage of life. I chose Med-Peds because it allows me to care for both children and adults while developing lasting relationships with entire families. Outside of medicine, I enjoy spending time with my wife and daughter, cooking and grilling, playing golf, and staying active. I am a die-hard Indianapolis Colts fan, Fighting Irish fan, and Indiana Pacers fan.

My favorite part of being a healthcare provider is getting to know my patients over time. I enjoy helping people navigate both routine and unexpected health challenges, but what I find most rewarding is earning a patient's trust and being there for them through different stages of life. I believe medicine should give every patient autonomy, and most of the time my role is simply to lay out the options available to them. As a Med-Peds physician, I also love the opportunity to care for both children and adults and to build relationships with entire families. I love that when a child graduates from their pediatric provider, they transition seamlessly to their adult provider. There's no need to start over with a new provider who doesn't already know them.
