Witham Health Services is pleased to sponsor the annual Boone County Outstanding Healthcare Professional of the Year Award. The award will be presented on March 6, 2025, at the Boone County Chamber of Commerce Annual Awards Banquet.
The Outstanding Healthcare Professional of the Year Award is designed to highlight the best in Boone County. The individual can be a doctor, nurse, emergency medical technician, paramedic, imaging technician, pharmacist, social worker, phlebotomist or work in any other aspect of the healthcare industry. They must demonstrate proficiency in patient care, as well as an attitude of professionalism that commands respect from their affiliation, coworkers, patients and the community. Their contributions go above and beyond the normal day-to-day work activities and make a lasting impression or impact on the lives of patients and their families. Their contributions to healthcare in Boone County through dedication, service and leadership to the community through the promotion of healthy living, public health education and volunteer activities are all considered.
