The Witham Maternity Center offers a homelike setting for labor, delivery, recovery and postpartum care. With experienced nurses working with you and your partner, it's an atmosphere specially designed to make your experience personal, comfortable and memorable.

The Witham Maternity Center offers four private suites, where our expecting moms labor, deliver and recover. All of the rooms emphasize family-centered care. Two of the private rooms offer whirlpool tubs for hydrotherapy during the laboring process.

If you and your caregiver choose, Witham also encourages intermittent fetal monitoring and walking during labor. You and your partner are encouraged to participate in the delivery, whether it's a vaginal or cesarean birth.

While the natural birth experience is available, epidural or other anesthesia is available. Specialized obstetrical anesthesiology physicians are available around-the-clock, seven days a week.

We recognize that you and your baby are part of a unique family structure with individual needs. Our family-centered care is designed to support and empower you and your family when you choose to have your baby at our center. Family is not limited to your nuclear family but is determined by you, the expectant mother.
