Internal Medicine

Adult Medical Specialists welcomes patients sixteen years of age and older. Our physicians specialize in meeting the needs of both male and female patients.

Appointments
We see patients by appointment. To schedule an appointment, call (765) 483-7373. If you are unable to keep an appointment, we ask that you notify our office as soon as possible to reschedule. Our office hours are:

Monday through Friday - 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

Services

• Sick visits
• Annual physicals
• Treadmill testing
• Electrocardiograms
• Pulmonary function testing
• Removal of moles and skin lesions
• Internal medicine consultations and second opinions

After-Hours Emergency Care
In the case of an after-hours emergency, you may call the service at (765) 482-2686. They will forward your message to the physician on call who will contact you directly. Naturally, if it is a life-threatening emergency, call 911.

Fees, Insurance, and Payment
We require payment by cash, check or credit/debit card at the time of service. We will accept the co-payment, deductible, or co-insurance and will file the remainder with your insurance carrier. Please bring your insurance coverage information with you. We will send you a statement for remaining balances. It is then your responsibility to pay and negotiate any discrepancies with your insurance provider.

Lab and X-ray
Laboratories may bill you separately for any ordered tests or x-rays. If your insurance provider designates specific medical sites for testing and lab work, please let you doctor know in advance. For your convenience, x-ray (imaging) services are available in the Witham Medical Office Building, as well as at the main hospital.

Prescription Refills
Call the office at (765) 483-7373 during regular office hours when requesting prescription refills. Please allow 72 hours for your prescription to be taken care of. Please have information on hand regarding the current medication and dosage, as well as your pharmacy’s name and telephone number.
