The Allergy and Sinus Center has a broad spectrum of allergens to test patients and determine what factors are causing their allergies.
Determining allergic triggers is crucial in learning how to manage symptoms.
Testing provides Dr. Elliott with
information regarding what line of treatment is appropriate for each patient. Treatment may include avoidance, antihistamines, injections,
sublingual drops, surgery, or a combination of these options. Every treatment plan is unique and tailored for the individual patient.
Allergy treatment is not a cure. Treatment is a long term commitment with a goal to increase the body’s immune system response to allergens. Ideally, symptoms and side effects that patients experience when exposed to their allergens will decrease dramatically.
