"How can I say "Thank You" to those people who made a difference while I was in the hospital?"
Our patients thank us with a smile, a hug, or even a warm handshake, that is how we know we are doing a good job. Sometimes patients and their families choose to express their gratitude through letters of thanks and financial support. Our Grateful Patient Program is an opportunity to say thank you to a doctor, nurse or other caregiver who played a special role in your care.
We invite you to recognize these individuals by giving a few details about your care at Witham. You may also make a tax-deductible contribution to the Witham Health Services Foundation in your caregiver's name. When a monetary contribution is made to our Grateful Patient Program, the person you are honoring will be sent an acknowledgement gift that states "I make a difference." Your message of appreciation will also be shared with your honoree's supervisor and his or her professional colleagues. The gift amount will be kept confidential.
Your gift truly matters. your support ensures the Witham Health Services Foundation can continue to help with state-of-the-art equipment purchases and to continue to grand education loans and scholarships to our employees and members of our community.
Either way, we ensure your compliments are shared with the caregiver you name.

Rehabilitation Services Team Honored
We are honored to celebrate five amazing team members from our Rehabilitation Services department who were recently recognized through a grateful patient gift to the Witham Foundation. Pictured from left are Trey Chelf, Peter Dings and Theresa Kibler (not pictured are Jathan Rhoads and Kathryn Stemme).
This patient shared a moving message about the encouragement and compassion she’s received throughout her care; a true reflection of the heart our caregivers bring to their work every day. While these five individuals were named specifically, we recognize and appreciate the entire team for providing this same level of exceptional, compassionate care to every patient who walks through our doors.
