The Witham Health Services Foundation gave a donation of $39,756 on January 31, 2018 to Witham Health Services – Pediatrics Department to support the Reach Out and Read Program. The Foundation started their “Fund the Need” campaign for Reach Out and Read in May 2017. Through this program, every child who visits Witham Pediatrics from six months to five years of age will receive an age appropriate book that is theirs to keep. In addition, our physicians will help teach parents to read aloud to their children.
“This program is simply about the future of our community and we are very proud of the support we received in order to make Reach Out and Read possible for our Pediatrics Department” said Annette Preston, Director of the Witham Health Services Foundation.
