Witham Wellness is proud to announce “Tai Chi for Health” classes. Tai Chi is a great way to relieve the stress of everyday life and relieve muscle tension. Once learned, it is an exercise that you can do for life. Tai Chi, a form of martial arts, was originally developed in ancient China for self defense, but has evolved into a graceful form of exercise. Tai Chi can help improve such conditions as arthritis, heart disease, high blood pressure, poor posture, back/spinal problems, as well as increase strength, mobility, balance and endurance.
Classes begin on Tuesday, June 12th and will run for 6 weeks ending on July 24th. (No class July 3rd due to the holiday) We will offer a 10:00am-11:00am class & a 6:00pm-7:00pm class in Witham's North Pavilion Community Room.
